Here is the bike I am using on my California Tour (in progress). I was forced to not be a weight weenie by the 80lbs trailer full of my twin boys and all our gear. I went with a non-carbon frame and disc brakes (Those are the soon to be release Vapor Disc hubs). It’s certainly not the typical type of bike that people put Tokyowheels on, but I’m loving it. It’s a dream to ride with the trailer full loaded, and then the light wheels really help offset the heavier frame when the trailer isn’t attached.
You can see more of my photos on my instagram.

Smart choice with the Gatorskin for touring, I also run on Gatorskin on all my Century n Double Century ride. I have to give u big Kudos for having ur twin boy in trailer plus gears doing tour. Mad prop.
Thanks Mike, I just think of pulling the trailer as ‘resistance training’

Always been a fan of Cervelo aero bikes and that picture has me wanting to sell my older S2 and get a new Cervelo S2 or S3.
Thanks - I am really happy with it, new wheels help set the look. I have upgraded all of the mechanical over time. In the market at the moment for an R5 - bit more compliance and this will help on long rides and fast descents - the S2 tends to bounce around a little if there are undulations in the road.
Tokyowheels on my Ti bike. The performance certainly matches its looks. It’s just great.
